Romulan Star Empire Fact Sheets

 OFFICER UNIFORMS

Romulan uniforms have been wildly inconsistent over the years.  The current uniform (as seen in Nemesis) is a black design, a departure from the typical gray designs of the past.  The new design is covered in a pattern of small, reflective, multicolored panels.  It is unknown if this pattern is specific to any branch of the Romulan service or stature, but there are at least two distinct patterns in existence.  These uniforms are complimented by sashes and belts similar in style to the older uniform versions.

OFFICER RANK INSIGNIA

(Conjectural)

Romulan rank systems are nearly parallel to that of Star Fleet.  Both The Naval and the Intelligence services use the same insignia, but wear somewhat different uniforms with a different color pattern in the tiles.
