Klingon Empire Fact Sheets

 OFFICER UNIFORMS

Klingon uniforms are heavy, leather ensembles designed to offer protection in a hand-to-hand fight.  They are generally black, with gold or red adorning the tops of the high collars, depending on the branch of service.  They are further decorated with sashes and cloaks, depending on the status of the individual officer as well as his/her personal desires.

OFFICER RANK INSIGNIA

(Conjectural)

The Klingon rank system is very similar to Star Fleet's.  The insignia can be found on the front of the high black collar.  When facing a Klingon officer, the left-hand insignia denotes the officer's grade, while the right-side insignia denotes branch of service.
